If the door seal does not have good magnetic properties, pour some vegetable oil on a paper towel and apply it to the seal near the door hinge from top to bottom, then close the door. 2.Spread a thin coat of petroleum jelly along the sealing surface of the door gasket to help the new gasket seal properly. 3.Close the door and check the fit. The door gasket should fit tightly against the cabinet and door with no gaps showing.Then secure it with tape for 12 hours.
